"Spaceships don't come equipped..."
Born in Denver, but raised in the South suburbs of Chicago, IL, Myles Ealy has never been tied down to any place, mindset, or dream. His parents, Lionel and Lori, raised him to be an individual, and young Early is truly an anomaly when it comes to the way he lives, thinks, and produces his music.
This young music artist was brought up under the influence of world-renowned artists and musicians such as Anita Baker, Earth Wind and Fire, A Tribe Called Quest, and Common. His own unique sound reflects this; Early’s love for lyricism is matched by an appreciation for musicality and refreshingly exceptional beats, which set his work a step above the hip-hop music that is played on the radio.
A triple threat, Early not only raps, but also sings and makes use of his 13 years of classical piano training in the making of his music. For him, hip-hop is more than just heavy bass and punch lines – he pays close attention to every detail regarding the music making process to ensure the greatest quality for his fans. He is affiliated with Memphis-based music production team, Highlanders Media Group, and has just released his debut album, In The Mourning Of…, in May of 2016.
Currently in his final year of the Bachelor’s of Music Business program at the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN, Early plans to pursue a career doing what he loves in the Home of the Blues. In the words of one of his favorite rappers, Andre Benjamin, “Spaceships don’t come equipped with rear view mirrors,” and taking that to heart, Early is looking up and moving forward, excited for the world to “wake up!” and follow suit.
